By purchasing a ticket for the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN during the Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 (ADE) and/or stepping on board, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Meaning everybody who boards the train, including crew, artists & guests, agree to comply with all of the following:
1. Age Restriction
All attendees must be at least 18 years old. Valid, original identification must be presented upon entry (no copies or photos). No refunds will be provided if entry is denied due to failure to meet the age requirement or if no valid ID can be provided.
2. Food and Drink Policy
Attendees are not allowed to bring their own drinks or food on board. Drinks & snacks will be provided on board.
3. Media Consent
By attending an event on the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN, you acknowledge and agree that photographs and video recordings may be captured during the event. You further consent to the use of such images and recordings by 50:HERTZ and the organiser of the specific event for promotional purposes, including but not limited to future marketing materials, social media, and other media platforms.
4. Ticket Transfer
Tickets may be transferred to another individual via Ticketswap or through private arrangements. The event organizers are not responsible for ticket transfer disputes or issues. Most events are not directly hoste by 50:HERTZ but by the individual promotor. 50:HERTZ is only responsible for the tickets sold for our own events. The will be listed with “50:HERTZ Presents” in the title. For these events tickets will be sold by 50:HERTZ. For all other events the promotors will do their own ticket sales. These terms & conditions will apply for all visitors for all events.
5. Health & Safety
Attendees with any medical conditions or sensitivities, such as epilepsy or other health concerns, should be aware that the event will include strobe lighting and loud music, which could trigger health issues. Participation is at the individual’s own risk. If you require prescription medication during the event, you must bring a doctor’s prescription, which should be shared at the entrance. In certain cases, you may be asked to deposit your medication with our EHBO (first-aid personnel) on board for safekeeping, and they will provide it to you as needed during the event. We strongly advise that if you have any special medical conditions that could require attention during the event, you notify our medical staff at the beginning of the event. Please ensure they are informed of any necessary precautions or care instructions to ensure your safety. Remember, this event takes place on a moving train, and it will not be possible to disembark easily in the event of a medical emergency.
While we strive to be inclusive and welcome all guests, if your medical condition poses significant risks to yourself or others, please consider whether this event is suitable for you.
Accessibility Notice: Unfortunately, due to the limited space and the design of the train, this event is not accessible to individuals in wheelchairs. We would love to welcome everyone, but the narrow corridors and confined spaces on the train make it unsafe for both wheelchair users and other guests trying to navigate through the train. There is, however, seating available in the chill-out areas for guests who may need to rest or have difficulty standing over long periods.
6. Liability
By boarding the train, you acknowledge that you are entering at your own risk. 50:HERTZ has no control or oversight over the technical aspects, logistics, or mechanical safety of the train. All necessary safety and operational checkups are handled exclusively by Railexperts, a highly reputable company with a proven safety track record. While every effort is made to ensure a safe experience, malfunctions or accidents may still occur, including emergency brakes being used, which could result in serious injuries. You accept full responsibility for any personal injuries, health risks, or incidents that may arise during the event. In such cases, attendees must rely on their own medical insurance. The promoters, artists, suppliers 50:HERTZ, and any associated partners or sponsors are not liable for any injuries, technical malfunctions, or operational failures related to the train. All technical and safety-related liability falls under the responsibility of Railexperts.
Additionally, attendees are responsible and will be held accountable for any damage they cause to the train, equipment, other guests or event decorations. The organisation reserves the right to hold individuals financially liable for any damages resulting from their actions or negligence.
7. Timing and Attendance (BE ON THE PLATFORM 45min BEFORE SHOWTIME!!!)
The train will depart around the specified times. Attendees are responsible for arriving on time, meaning 45min prior to the presented showtime. This will give you the time to find and make your way to the correct platform. There you will be welcomed by our security and hosts where your ticket will be scanned and you will go through to the security check. This way everybody can board the train directly when it arrives on the platform. THE TRAIN WILL NOT WAIT! Late arrivals will not be permitted to board, and no refunds will be issued.
Stay updated with the latest event information through official communications by the promotors (email) and the 50:HERTZ website and instagram page for the latest updates. We will post stories with urgent or last minute updates like platform changes or delays. https://www.instagram.com/50hertz.experiences/
The exact departure and arrival times may vary due to obvious factors such as railway construction or operational delays beyond the control of the 50:HERTZ or Railexperts. It is your own responsibility to be on time. If you miss the train, you will not receive a refund.
8. Zero Tolerance Policy
The event strictly adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal substances, drugs, violence, harassment, or disruptive behaviour. Any violation will result in immediate denial from the event, without refund, and possible police involvement. On board all attendees are required to listen to the guidance of 50:HERTZ crew, bar staff, security and train management at all times. In all situations the Railexperts train management have the final say in any situation.
9. No Smoking & Vaping
Smoking, including vaping, is strictly prohibited on the train. Violations of this rule may result in immediate removal from the event, without refund due to obvious fire safety issues. All toilets have smoke detectors so train management will act with a zero tolerence on anybody smoking anywhere. You will be let out the train at the nearest station and will have to travel back to Amsterdam at your own cost.
10. Misbehaviour and Security
Attendees who misbehave may be detained by security in a designated area until the train reaches the next station if needed. In severe cases, individuals may be handed over to the police. Security reserves the right to take necessary actions to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew.
11. Event Duration and Exit Policy
All events will be 4-hour train journeys. It is not possible to leave the train during this time, except in emergencies or enforced removal by security. For sunrise showcases only, there will be a mid-point stop at Amsterdam Central Station, where attendees may exit the train but nobody will be permitted to (re-)board.
12. Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders will be refunded the full amount paid for the ticket by the promotor / organisation where you have bought the tickets. In such situation, please contact the organisation of the event directly since 50:HERTZ will only be responsible of the refund process if the ticket is bought directly from 50:HERTZ.
Each of the organisations reserves the right to determine if circumstances warrant a refund. Since this event takes place on a moving train, technical malfunctions or operational issues outside the control of 50:HERTZ may occur. If the event can still proceed in any of the wagons, no refund will be issued. We don’t expect any issues and last year everything went without any outages during any of the events. But we expect all guests to realise we are creating a clubbing experience on a moving train. Certain (short) power cuts can always occur and we hope for your understanding. In case of such an event, please stay calm, listen to the instructions of the crew and train management. Never rush to other wagons since they will get to crowded. We expect, if we even get any power cuts at all, they will last for just a few minutes. We use power backups of course so therefore we will hopefully avoid any such situations.
50:HERTZ is not responsible for technical failures on the train, which are under the supervision of the train company, Railexperts.
13. Railexperts and Operational Responsibility
Railexperts hold full responsibility for the operation of the train, including all aspects related to its route, stops, and interactions with other transport systems such as NS and Pro Rail. All technical aspects and the smooth running of the train are under their supervision. 50:HERTZ is not responsible for any delays, route changes, or technical malfunctions of the train. This responsibility lies entirely with Railexperts, ensuring that the highest standards of safety are met at all times. Also on the platforms guests are expected to any direction from our crew or of course regular staff that can always direct you on a train platform. Of course NS staff and police will always have the authority. Guests are responsible for their own actions on the platform like any other time when they travel by train.
14. Bar Policy
Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on the train. All attendees are expected to drink responsibly. The bar reserves the right to deny service to any individuals appearing intoxicated or displaying any kind of mis conduct.
15. Boarding & Departure Information and QR-Code
As mentioned, important information regarding the event, such as the specific departure platform at Amsterdam Central Station. To access the station you will need a QR code required for entry, which you will receive in your final info mail before the event by the organisation who you have bought the ticket from. Never share this QR-Code since you will then illegally grant access to people to Amsterdam Central Station. The NS (Nederlands Spoor) in charge of the station can take legal action if you share this code.
All guests will be subjected to a mandatory security search for drugs, weapons, or prohibited items. No one will be allowed on the train without undergoing this security search. This procedure is required by both ADE and the municipality of Amsterdam to ensure the safety of all passengers.
16. Acceptance of Terms and future
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. The event organizers reserve the right to modify these terms without prior notice. The ticket buyer is obligated to forward this link to all guests for whom a ticket is purchased and to explain they have to read these terms. Therefore we simply state that by stepping on board the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN you accept to comply to these terms and conditions as stated here on the date of the event. So we advise you to check here before boarding. www.50-hertz.com/trainterms
These terms & conditions will also be displayed on board of the train during the events.
By purchasing a ticket or stepping on board the train, you also consent to receiving relevant event information and future (marketing) communications from the organiser of the party you purchased the ticket from, as well as from 50:HERTZ in regard to any of their projects and events. Since it is required for 50:HERTZ to obtain all passenger information, all attendees hereby accept that any organisation will share their information with 50:HERTZ.
17. Compliance with Train Staff Instructions
All attendees are required to comply with the instructions provided by the staff, including bar staff, event organizers, and most importantly, the personnel of the train itself. The staff from Railexperts, who operate the train, will always have the final say in matters of safety and conduct. Event organizers, including 50:HERTZ and Drifters, must adhere to the decisions made by Railexperts on issues related to safety and operational conduct. In cases of non-compliance, Railexperts reserve the right to remove or detain any individual who endangers the safety of the train or other attendees. This applies to everyone onboard, including artists and crew members.
Celebrate Safe Guidelines
As part of ADE’s Celebrate Safe initiative, we fully support and adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests:
-
- Get enough sleep and at regular times.
- Do you still have earplugs and do they still fit well? Otherwise, buy a new set with a music filter to protect your ears. More information at ilovemyears.nl.
- Make sure you have plenty of tasty and healthy food in the fridge. Then you don’t have to leave the house after the party.
- Do you plan to use drugs? Then have them tested in time. Visit drugs-test.nl for a location near you. Come at least 1 week in advance, but preferably a little earlier because of the crowds. You can also go during the week of ADE. But there is no time left to send it to the lab if necessary. Still we might be able to help you, so do come!
- Did you know that condoms have an expiration date? Make sure you carry condoms. You never know where the evening ends.
- How do you get home? By taxi, shuttle bus or is someone the designated sober driver? Check your friends’ plans and agree what you will do if someone wants to leave early.
- Cancel the gym classes, partying is hard work! It is better to go for a walk after a weekend of partying than to do an intense workout.
- Remember: less is more, make sure you schedule some rest into your busy schedule.
- Take the time to read up on the risks of alcohol and other drugs so that you are not faced with any surprises. For example, at parties and clubs it is prohibited to have hard drugs with you. House rules about cannabis may differ.
- Do a ‘check in’ in advance with yourself or as a group of friends. Are you feeling comfortable and good? A party can enhance that feeling. Unfortunately, the same applies the other way around. Adjust your plans if necessary and look out for each other.
