FAQ
Welcome to the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN FAQ! We’ve compiled all the information you need for an unforgettable experience during ADE 2025. Below you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions to help ensure you’re fully prepared for this unique event.
The 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN is a new concept debuted at ADE 2024 and will be returning for ADE 2025. It’s a moving club with multiple stages and chill-out areas aboard a train, allowing guests to enjoy live music while traveling across the Netherlands. The experience combines music, art, and movement, providing a one-of-a-kind setting for fans and artists alike. The train will host a diverse range of performances across different genres, including house, techno, and more. This year we have a third stage and 400 guests on board per journey!
In 2025, the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN returns with its most ambitious edition to date. We are hosting 16 separate shows across 94 hours, from Wednesday night at 00.00 until Sunday evening at 22.00. During this time, the CLUB TRAIN will be moving across the Netherlands almost non-stop. Only short breaks are planned in between shows for resetting and restocking.
Each show will be a 4 hour journey. Whether you prefer the energy of a daytime trip or the intimacy of a sunrise journey, there is something for everyone.
Below is an overview of the four time slots:
• Night Trip — 00.00 until 04.00
• Sunrise Trip — 06.00 until 10.00
• Day Trip — 13.00 until 17.00
• Sunset Trip — 18.00 until 22.00
Each trip is a separate event with its own lineup and guests. Tickets are sold per trip and include full access to one 4 hour show on board the CLUB TRAIN, with 3 different stages, a food bar, chillout areas and a panoramic backstage experience for artists and invited guests. The train departs and arrives from Amsterdam Central Station and takes guests on an unforgettable ride through the Dutch landscape.
The boarding process for each trip starts exactly 45 minutes before showtime. From that moment on, our team will begin scanning tickets and performing a short security check at the back of the announced platform.
Make sure you arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before departure, so you have enough time to go through the check and be ready before the train arrives. It is important that everyone is fully checked and waiting on the platformwhen the train pulls in, so boarding can happen immediately.
The train will only stop briefly and must depart on time — we cannot wait for latecomers. If you miss boarding, there is no refund on your ticket.
You will receive an info mail from the organisation of which you purchased your ticket. Most shows are hosted by third-party organisations so 50:HERTZ will only send this info mail to the ticket buyers of the show we host ourselves. This info mail will contain the correct platform and a QR-Code that will grant you access to the station.
If your ticket was purchased through someone else or Ticketswap, make sure to check this website for the latest updates and instructions.
Yes, all guests will go through a security check upon arrival at the platform. Security will check for prohibited items, including drugs, lighters, weapons, alcohol, and other illegal substances. This is mandatory and is part of our commitment to a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board. These checks are required by the ADE organization and the municipality of Amsterdam & the train company.
The train operates on a strict schedule, and due to the nature of the event, late arrivals will not be allowed to board once the doors are closed. No refunds will be provided for missed departures. We encourage all attendees to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The train will be in motion for the entire duration of the event. Leaving the train is not permitted during the journey, except in the case of emergencies or if you are removed by security for misconduct.
Yes, the minimum age for attendees is 18 years. Valid, original identification will be required at check-in. Entry will be denied without proper ID, and no refunds will be issued if you fail to provide proof of age.
We recommend dressing comfortably but stylishly, as you would for any club night. Since the train will be moving, wear comfortable shoes with good grip because our dance floor moves at 140km/h. The temperature inside the train will be regulated, but it may still fluctuate as people move in and out of the different areas, so we suggest layering your clothing for comfort.
No, we’ll have both food and a fine selection of beverages available on board, so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.
No, as like inside any other venue during ADE it is NEVER allowed to smoke or vape inside the train. Due to fire restrictions our security will act very strictly on anybody smoking on board, for example on the toilets. All toilets have smoke detectors so you will get caught and will be let off the train at the nearest station and will have to travel back to Amsterdam yourself.
Last year we did however stopped several times for a short smoker stop. But this can’t be guaranteed for every ride due to the strict train schedule and routes that varies between trips.
The bar will be stocked with alcoholic beverages, and we ask that all attendees drink responsibly. The bar staff reserves the right to deny service to anyone who appears intoxicated. We expect everybody to realise you are in a unique setting so please drink accordingly.
If you need to bring medication, make sure it’s prescription medication with a valid doctor’s note, as this may be requested by security staff at the entrance. For safety, we recommend informing the medical team on board about your condition. You may be asked to store your medication with our medical team, who will administer it to you as needed. Please note that the train will be in motion, so make sure you’ve taken all necessary precautions for your health before boarding.
Unfortunately, due to space limitations and the layout of the train, it is not accessible to wheelchair users. The narrow corridors and the design of the event areas make it difficult to accommodate wheelchairs safely. However, for individuals who need to rest, there will be seating available in the chill-out areas. We recommend contacting us if you have specific mobility concerns, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes, tickets are transferable through Ticketswap or via private arrangements. However, it will be your own responsibility to make sure you will have the right information. So for example contact the organisation and share your email adres so they can send you the final info mail before the event.
By boarding the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN you agree to comply to all Terms & Conditions.
